As we wrote a few days ago, Don’t Look Now represents the high point of a popular sub-genre of the ’70s. Who Saw Her Die? preceded by two years Nic Roeg’s movie and certainly ranks above other – often unwatchable – similar B-movies. Another serial killer story with former 007 George Lazenby as the protagonist and Ennio Morricone’s music, this Venetian thriller by Aldo Lado interested us here at Grandi Vedute for a particular reason: one of its locations. The derelict building where the frantic final scenes were shot is nothing but our magnificent Molino Stucky way before the big restoration project that has led it to its current splendor. Look at the poster, watch the teaser and come to see the difference (no serial killers admitted! :))
