MARCO POLO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (VCE)

  • PRIVATE WATERTAXI – approximately 30 minutes – 130€ for the ride.  
  • ALILAGUNA BLUE/RED LINE: From Marco Polo Airport, take the Alilaguna public boat BLU or RED line. Get off at Giudecca Hilton. Keep your right and walk straight on for approximately 100 meters. Our reception door is the last one facing the Giudecca Canal. Approximately 1 hour 40 minutes – Cost: 15€ per passengers – €1 extra charge when tickets purchased on board. Once you get off at Palanca, you turn right and you walk straight on for about 5/10 minutes. You have to cross two bridges (the first one made of stone, the second one made of wood). After the second bridge keep on walking straight on for approximately 100 meters. Our reception door is the last one facing the Giudecca Canal.  Approximately 45 – 65 minutes. Cost: approximately 16 € (it costs less if you buy or already have a tourist ticket covering your day of arrival/departure)

Cost: approximately 17 € (it costs less if you buy or already have a tourist ticket covering your day of arrival/departure)

SANTA LUCIA TRAIN STATION & PIAZZALE ROMA

    • Waterbus line 2 – direction Tronchetto – Giudecca – San Zaccaria (Approximately 30 minutes from Piazzale Roma, 35 minutes from Ferrovia)
    • Waterbus line 4.1 – direction Giudecca – San Zaccaria (Approximately 15 minutes from Piazzale Roma, 20 minutes from Ferrovia) Cost: 7,5€ per ride. It costs less if you buy or already have tourist tickets for covering your day of arrival/departure.

Our suggestion: If you are planning to take the Vaporetto/waterbus, please prefer line n.2: the boats are bigger and are provided with space for luggage. It may be a longer trip, but surely more comfortable and safe.

IF YOU ARRIVE BY CAR:

  • We suggest to park at Tronchetto http://www.veniceparking.it/ – it’s a very big car parking. you’ll see it driving through the long bridge which connect Venice to the mainland – once you arrive at the end of the bidge at the traffic light turn right and follow the signals  (If you prefer there are other 2 big car-parking in Piazzale Roma). The cost is around euro 21,00 per day. If you park at Tronchetto, take Waterbus line 2 – direction Tronchetto – Giudecca – San Zaccaria and get off at Palanca.
