Escaping from a killer dressed for Japanese kendo only to fall down from the clock tower in Piazza San Marco, embarking on a chase along the canals and then come out again in San Marco on board a gondola-shaped hovercraft. Moonraker (1979) is one of the most spectacular (and shoddy…) episodes of 007 set in the lagoon, after the excellent From Russia with Love (1963) and before Casino Royale (2006).
